To foster new talent and support early career silversmiths/jewellers and ceramists, Yorkshire Artspace 2 Starter Studio Programmes designed to help ambitious and entrepreneurial artists who are at an early career stage to develop their skills and creative enterprises in a supportive environment, the programmes offer: access to shared workspace with equipment, technical and mentor support, business advice, commission and/or exhibition opportunities.
On Thursday 27th June Yorkshire Artspace representatives visited New Designers to talk about our wonderful studios in Sheffield and our fantastic very affordable startup studios for early career ceramists and silversmiths/jewellers that come with a range of support to help you kick start your careers in the best way possible.

In addition to our Starter Studio Programme, we are also launching a brand new on-line professional development platform in October 2013. Studio54 at Yorkshire Artspace is a place where artists meet other artists and other experts to share stories, offer tips and advice, ask questions and receive answers. Some area of the website will be free for anyone to see, read and comment.
Our popular Starting Out course will also be housed at Studio 54 and will be launched late October 2013. It will remain affordable, accessible and still provide you with an 'everything you ever needed to know about starting, developing and sustaining a creative practice'.
