to the Yorkshire ArtSpace Society website. The Society was established in Sheffield in 1977 to provide affordable workspace for artists and craftspeople. The membership is made up of a wide variety of artists and makers and 68 members have studios at Yorkshire ArtSpace’s award-winning purpose-built premises, Persistence Works. The Society is run by a Board of Directors, a Members Committee and seven members of staff. This site will give you information on our studios, our organisation and also the programme activity that underpins our service to visual artists and to the public.
