Dementia-friendly Music and Crafts Morning 27 October

To accompany the art exhibition ‘At Your Service’, we welcome you to a crafts and music morning for elderly people and people with dementia.

It takes place on Saturday 27th October, from 10am to 12.30pm at Yorkshire Artspace, Persistence Works Gallery, 21 Brown Street, Sheffield S1 2BS.

We warmly welcome elderly people and people with dementia, accompanied by a friend or relative, to join us for a morning of crafts activities and music. Participants will receive an crafts activity pack on arrival that can be taken home.

Between 11am and 11.45am we will welcome versatile music duo Melody Lane from Lost Chord, the music organisation for people with dementia, who will play some of your favourite songs and tunes to sing and dance along to.

Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided on arrival. This event is sponsored by the Sheffield Hospitals Charity and organised by the team from Arts in Health at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Grace Stead, founder of Enrichment for the Elderly.
