Open Up Sheffield

Yorkshire Artspace will be taking part in this year's Open Up Sheffield event.

Artists at Manor Oaks Studios are open on 5th, 12th and 13th May and artists at Persistence Works/Porter Brook Studios are open on 12th and 13th May from 11am to 5pm.

At Manor Oaks Studios (389 Manor Lane, Sheffield, S2 1UL) artists: Annette Petch (Jewellery), Finbarr Lucas (furniture), Susan Disley, Anne Laycock, Joel Neild and Miles Gavin (ceramics).

At Porter Brook Studios (next door to Persistence Works) artists: Mary Charlton and Chris Boland (jewellery/silversmithing), Lynn Carruthers andSue Taylor (sculpture/mixed media), Tim Rose, Paul Dearden and Trevor Pollard (painting/printmaking).

And at Persistence Works Studios (21 Brown Street, Sheffield, S1 2BS) artists: Robert Almond, John Thatcher and Anna Childs (furniture), Sarah Villeneau, Brian Holland, Emilie Taylor, Hanne Westergaard and Katharine Boyd (ceramics and glass), Ross Gilbertson and David Appleyard (sculpture/mixed media), Carol Lambert, Neil Woodall, Madeleine Walton, Isobel Walker and Rosemary Watson (painting/printmaking) and Heather Dewick (book binding).

Also at Persistence Works, meet the team behind CraftFinder, a new venture promoting the work of high quality craftspeople.

With Tea & Cake sale on Saturday 12th May at Persistence Works Studios.  Proceeds will be donated to the Cavendish Cancer Care centre as part of the Master Cutler Challenge.
