As part of their residency artists Steve Pool & Kate Genever chose to use part of their residency fee to commission 4 other artists to collaborate with and produce work in response to the Parson Cross neighbourhood.   These 'Small Commissions' were advertised via Arts Council England’s 'Artsjobs', drawing national attention to our Parson Cross Programme and the new Knutton Road Studios.  Each artist commissioned was offered £300, including materials and travel. We received a number of very high quality and very diverse proposals from artists who, we assume, were attracted by the open brief and the Parson Cross context rather than the small fee offered.   Short films and images accompany all these projects and they can be found on our website blog page.
